Measurements: 16cm wide x 7cm tall (all products may vary slightly as everything is wheel-thrown and handmade individually)
Throwing with 'crank' (this very rough clay) is tougher than it looks. It has sharp edges in the clay itself and it's more stubborn to move, but luckily with time my hands have become hardened too. Now it's one of my favourite materials to work with, and I love the challenge of making something so delicate with something so rough.
I mix my own glazes, so after a lot of trial and error I came up with this fresh blue shade for these bowls. I love the way the glaze reacts with the textured clay of the bowl.
